I believe that Fletcher are not doing the right thing. What do you think? I'm gonna give YOU three reasons why they’re doing bad things.

First of all, Fletcher are building on land they don’t even own because they bought it off the government and the government doesn't even own it. So technically it’s still the iwi’s land. Fletcher is illegally building on the land. As such the government should give the land back

The kaumatua tribes wanted their land back but they couldn’t do anything. So they asked Phill Goff and the council for help but they could not do anything. Our Ancestors found this land and you can’t just sell other’s land.

Last but not least there is no infrastructure. If you were living in ihumatao you would want a school near you. It is not suitable for a house because there is no suitable places to get resources.

In my conclusion Fletcher is not doing the right thing and shouldn’t build on the iwi’s land
